Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Elliot missed a lot of the beauty around him in his early years. It was only after he looked through a lens that he began to appreciate the natural magnificence of the place he called home. In a seemingly new world, Elliot took snapshots of anything and everything, from his family's collie to the often-overlooked textures that covered the physical world. As his interest grew, he looked to a love of bodyboarding for inspiration. With the hopes of becoming an underwater photographer in the future, Elliot invested in his first Nikon - a D80 - to extend the control he had over his subjects.

This was the tipping point.

Behind this new SLR, Elliot discovered that he could control depth-of-field and focus-points. The images created were no longer snapshots, but the world exactly as he saw it through the lens. Communication through imagery.

Taking pictures at every opportunity possible, a hobby quickly became a passion. It is with this passion that Elliot founded ECphoto.

Also from Honolulu, Hawaii, Lindsey is one of the major driving forces behind ECphoto. With her dance background and love of the arts, Lindsey has a natural ability to find and freeze beautiful slices of time with the camera. Lindsey's energy and personality radiate both in front of and behind the camera. Her understanding of what it takes to perform onstage, create beautiful lines and to communicate with her audience afford her a great confidence and state of mind unattainable by any other means.

As the designated second-shooter, Lindsey has proven her ability to work side-by-side with - while bringing her own talents to - the ECphoto team in order to create the wonderful storytelling associated with ECphoto.
